Following the EDen Beta Update instructions on the Wiki I get the same error regardless of use Nito or SSH (Putty) (JB via Seas0npass). Both give the same error.
It does the
"apt-get update"
Fine
But then I do
"apt-get install org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2"
and get this error
E: The package cydia needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it.
Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

did you follow the instructions in "installing from cydia" ? you need to do that first

This is on an Apple TV 2
I did a JB from Seas0npass I am not at all sure that this includes Cydia or whether its an alternative. I didnt to the best of my knowledge install Cydia. Does this mean I need to? If so appreciate your advising how I do this.

I don't quite understand why there is all this trouble with Seas0npass. It installs everything that is needed to install xbmc. Cydia repo is there, XBMC's repo, etc. It's all there.

Thanks for clarifying that I already have whats needed installed.
To be clear I have already got XBMC installed and am merely trying to update to EDen.
Any ideas? Do I reinstall Seas0npass - if so is that starightforward?
