Controlling Suspend
#1
Hello

I'm using XBMC timers to kick suspend. I'd like to be able to have an exception if an application is opened (basically I want to avoid suspending when EyeTV is recording or transcoding, and I've built a script that open a particular app when this is happening).

Is there a way to tell XBMC to not call suspend if a program is running?

Alternatively do you know if applescript can be used to control the OS sleep function that get called by XBMC?

Thanks in advance

you probably want to look a python as this is what xbmc is probably using - also might be worth looking in the dev threads.
