I know this question has been asked many times and I don't like asking it again. But I find the questions that have been asked aren't really answered. So my question is. Is there anyway of getting XBMC to recognize my HD connected to my Airport Express? Right now I have it set up on SMB via my old laptop but I really want to get rid of the laptop and just have it connected to my AE.
Thanks in advance.

The little guy AirPort Express or the AirPort Extreme base station? I believe the AirPort Express can only do printers through its USB port.

Turn on guest sharing on Airport Extreme (via Airport Utility). Enable smb and/or arp in XBMC. Now use zeroconfig browser within XBMC and you should see the your hard drive.
You might also do a search of this forum with Airport Extreme as a keyword. You will find that this topic has been addressed many times, likely to you satisfaction. Keep us posted as necessary.
