How about creating a button where the topic creator or a mod can mark an issue as solved and that the board automatically creates a [SOLVED] Tag in the topic title.
This would come in handy if you are searching for issues, sometimes there dozen of topics about the same problem but not all of them have the answer it, if it's tagged with solved then it would be easier to notice it.
