Well I figured this out. I had to change the XBMC setting "sync playback to display" to off. Strange that this would be the culprit. But it fixed everything.... Thanks all for the help.

I have stuttering also with this option "On".

Who would think that syncing playback to display would be bad? I mean what's the point of this option? When would this be used?
