When the option to Update Library on Startup is enabled and advancedsettings.xml contains :
<cleanonupdate>true</cleanonupdate>
the process never ends. Just as it starts the cleaning, it stalls there and takes a significant amount of CPU power. ON a dual core E8400, you can't even start playing an HD movie. On a quad core i5, it takes 50% of the processing power.
If you try to exit XBMC, it will freeze and you must force close xbmc.exe
The cleaning never actually happens.
This was tested on the local SQlite database and the MySQL database.
