[LIVE] No HDMI signal if receiver i started after boot
#1
Hi,
I'm having problem getting the HDMI ouput work the way I want.
My Setup is:
|XBMC|----HDMI cable----|Reciever|----HDMI cable----|HDMI Splitter|---2x HDMI cable--|TV & Projector|

If I start my receiver before i boot up the XBMC everything works fine, but if i boot the XBMC first I don't get any HDMI signal to the TV.
I'm wondering if there is any workarounds for this? maybe som kind of extra hardware between the XBMC and the Receiver or some kind of screen identification code?

Thanks in advance!

One option (if your receiver supports it) is video passthrough - so you can watch on the TV (using the TV speakers) without turning the receiver on. Post the make/model of your receiver for more help.

Other thing is to setup a custom xorg config file - not sure how Live works these days if it can't find a screen attached during boot.
