After updating to eden, xbmc stopped automatic scanning of my movie folder. When I manually initiated a scan for new content, the program begins the scan, then crashes during the scan. There seemed to be no problem scanning TV sources. I'm attempting to update to latest nightly build at moment

Try enabling the youtube plugin first

Youtube plugin is enabled and will play videos. I should let you know we're working off of an internet connection of <1Mbps, so I don't use youtube. Just playing files off of a readyNas duo on my network connected through SMB
