Hello ,
Can somebody help me plz with the driver install of my hd 6450 on a xbmc live install .
I tryed alot methodes but none seem to work , at 1 point i got the drivers installed but then xbmc wouldnt start automaticly ..:mad:
Can some1 point me in the right derection , i tryed the xbmc live and xbmcbuntu edition..

if you just want the drivers, follow step 2, it works for any ubuntu(and other distros) supported by the drivers. Minimal is just the _minimum_ requirement, normal desktop install works too.
If you also want the xbmc xvba branch, I build packages for ubuntu 10.04 to 11.10(and experimental 12.04).
The howto is just a suggestion on how to get it working from scratch, there are other ways.

i get an error on the first step ,install some dependencies. Now i use a fresh xbmc live install . Now im trying apt-get update , apt-get upgrade ..

you say you follow the guide from scratch, then why do you install xbmc live again? The guide is written for ubuntu 11.10, so some needed libraries may be different on such an old distribution as lucid(xbmc live).

Couldn't find package dh-modaliases , do i have to add something ?
