[ATV2] Eden B2 - SMB Connection Related Crashing

Edit: Resolved - See Post #4 Below, Thanks to Memphiz for helping to diagnose the problem!

I have been experiencing crashes since updating to Eden Beta 1 (and now Beta 2). I'm pretty sure it is related to the SMB connection timing out, as the crash occurs after I have left XBMC idling on the main menu for a few minutes, then when I go to play a file XBMC crashes and the ATV2 restarts.

I remember reading somewhere that this was going to be fixed in Eden Beta 2, but I am still experiencing the problem after updating.

I have tried repairing the settings as described in the wiki, but the problem still persists.

Thanks

Detailed Info:
Platform: Apple TV 2
Version of iOS/ATV: 4.3 (2557)
XBMC Build version and date compiled: XBMC 11.0-BETA2 Git:20120120-f76c547 - Compiled Jan 20th 2012

Install Method: ssh'd and copied
Skin: Confluence (Default)

XBMC Full Debug log: http://pastebin.com/3hyrmkQe
Syslog: Had trouble opening as it was very large (22 MB)
CrashReporter Log: http://pastebin.com/NNV1vjrZ

Detailed Instructions to Reproduce the Problem (The more specific the better.)

Start XBMC and let it idle on the main menu for a few minutes. Then try to play a file from one of the SMB Shares, and XBMC will crash.

I think the problem is similar to this thread: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=111292

I am on 4.3.5 and have the same issue with xbmc crashing and restart to main menu. I have not updated to the new Eden, because I just learned about it. How do I update Eden to xbmc? Is there a way to update right from the atv2 or do I have to ssh it? If you figure out how to stop the crashing please post it

You crash because of incompatibility between XBMC and ATV Flash Black (MediaPlayer). We don't recommend haveing both installed because they interact with each other and we didn't figure out how to prevent this yet.

Many Thanks, I hadn't considered that ATV Flash could be the issue! - I resolved the problem by restoring the ATV2 to factory defaults (which also updated it to iOS5) and then jailbreaking again (seas0npass), and then installing XBMC Eden Beta 2 using the instructions on the wiki. Eden B2 is now very stable (no crashes so far) and even quicker at menu navigation than before.

You can use these instructions on the wiki - under the 'Eden Beta' section. Putty is an example of a tool that you can use to easily ssh into the ATV2 and run those commands. Backing up your Preferences > XBMC folder is always a good idea when updating as well. Hope this helps.
