[AppleTV2]Intermittent Crashes
#1
I updated to the Eden 2 beta when it came out. I thought I'd finally found my media player nirvana, after hooking up a cable connection and converting my existing xvids, I can now play all my content without buffering and the Eden interface is amazingly fast.

However, I've been having intermittent crashes (XBMC disappears and dumps me back to AppleTV main screen). Sometimes this happens whilst watching a video, other times it happens when xbmc is idle.

Platform: Darwin iOS (11.0.0 AppleTV2,1, Version 5.0.1 (Build 9A406a)). Built on Dec 24 2011 (Git:20111222-22ad8e4)
Installed with apt-get
Running the transparency skin

First debug log relates to a crash after I'd gone to bed at night and the next morning the ATV2 was sitting back at the AppleTV screen

Second debug log happened as I tried to start xbmc (got the boot screen, but crashed just before the main menu was displayed).

I have syslog and crashlogs if they are required. Any help greatly appreciated Smile

Syslog and Crashreporter are allways required on crashes. So please post them Smile

Sorry, I read the "how to report a problem" thread, and it said to be prepared to post them if asked. So I guess you are asking and here they are:

Just in case any of the devs are looking at this, I seem to have made the problem go away by updating to Beta 2.

Thanks for all the hard work guys, I finally have approval from my wife to buy another 2 ATV2s, seems we have finally found the ultimate media player solution Smile
