Awesome add-on.
Curious as to why this doesn't show subtitles on "The Block" whereas it does show subtitles on other 9Now shows.
And subtitles show up on "The Block" in the official 9Now app.

i just tested and I get subs on The Block S17E36 with Kodi 18 & 19 (on windows)
On 19, I think they were turned off by default - so maybe just need to turn them on?

I have Kodi 19.1 (latest from Google Play Store) on CCwGTV.
I tried the same Block episode (S17E36) and even though I enabled subtitles, I got no subtitles.
It's not a showstopper for me because the audio is pretty good on that show.
However it's strange why it why it works on that show for you and not me, especially when it works for me on other 9Now shows.
File it under "curious" I guess.
Tried a random other show Territory Cops and I get subtitles (and same for other shows I watch).
The same Block episode has subtitles (when enabled) on the web 9Now.com.au and 9Now Android TV app and on other devices.

found the issue.
Update 9now to 0.1.3
then go into its settings > playback > and enable Inputstream for HLS VOD
you should now get the subtitles.
seems kodis ffmpeg doesnt like them

What was the reason for no ability to log into your account on this addon? Is it possible to add it as an option so we can sync our play history?

good evening! I have been using the AU catchup addons for years and love them but i recently started using the Bingie netflix skin which wants all the widget artwork to be in video form. I see in the slyguy common addon configuration there is an option to change all the content to video view. I have tried doing this and reinstalling the addon but all the artwork is still in fanart form. Am i misunderstanding what this option is supposed to do?

i am having a issue with 9, will be playing and at a random point freeze making a horrible sound. tried all the normal stuff hardware acceleration off on etc and no go. does not kick out any errors, two pcs same issue but both have new rtx20 series in them, that said the system that had the gtx1070 did not have a issue but was on 19 and when i upgraded the gpu i updated kodi.
any help or input would be great. i have to stop the stream and resume till it happens again. ill test 7 tomorrow been so busy iv not been able to watch anything till recently.

I suspect it's just the issue of inputstream adaptive not really liking adverts / x discontinuity. Nothing I can do my end unfortunately

plays 7 etc today they are fine, only 9 that does it. id thought it would affect all but only 9 with the issue. odd one

odd binge is worse with the issue but that's ad free. so some with issue others without.
so i rolled back to v19.5 that disabled inputstream adaptive and then reinstalled it. fixed the issues that where also happening with paid no ads services so all fixed.
so definitely inputstream adaptive issue. shocked no ones really talking about the issue to what i can see but the reading writing issues affect me finding information.
if you did not point out inputstream adaptive id not know to roll back and would be hitting my head still. i hate having to roll back but it fixes the issues. hope some else find this helpful.
