hi,
I am really new with XBMC. I am using Mediaportal for years but I wanted to try something new ;-)
Here is my software setup:
- Windows 7
- Team Mediaportal 1.2.2Final including TVServer
- MediaPortal_v121_TVServerXBMC_plugin_bin_rev109
- opdenkapms XBMC PVR build: Eden-pvr Beta2 - build 65 - git rev. 62ff5bd
The TVServer is running OK. Then I installed the serverplugin. It seems to work also. I can get connection with telnet.
In XBMC - Settings - Addons - PVR... - there I cannot activate the plugin. When I click on activate, it stays deactivated. I attached a logfile.
One thing I dont understand. I can configure a database in the gentle.config from the server plugin. The wiki of Mediaportal says: "TV and Radio use SQL Server DB.". I copied the lines in the gentle.config. But where do I have to copy that config file. At the moment it is in the plugin folder of the mp-tvserver. I have the feeling that even if I delete the config file, nothing new happens.
Maybe someone can help me;-)
thanks mimas
btw: XBMC is wonderful, and I tested it just for some hours. So many things just work "out-of-the-box". I just need to get the live-tv running
