Hey,
I just got my revo and the HD audio xbmc version <woot>
I'm having some troubles with my drivers, but that asides its im getting there.
So far, I have tested the bluray version, the frodo version and the HD audio version and, seems that 2 of these are stable and from the same branch but have slightly different (yet compatible) features? And the frodo is still too buggy for me
Do you think anyone will ever merge the compatible updates/features into a "bluray HDFinal" version?
This could be great to tide us over until the audio engine version comes out.
Someone mentioned it in the bluray version, but basically ffmpeg updates, iso compatability, forced subs, patches and bug fixes from the bluray version, into this HDAudio version as the bluray one has other missing features that are available in this one
If merged together we would have an awesome build.
Anyone up for the task

The bluray version of Eden does,
but it has a few missing features such as no visualisations etc
Each fragmented build has something the other is missing, so many good individual versions of Eden that just need merged together
Im trying to learn how to compile them, but if anyone who knows how to merge the forced subs etc from the bluray version into this version we would have a nigh on perfect build!
But for now, yea, forced subs is available in the bluray version a few posts below this thread... It works really well and is a god send for movies with foreign segments etc... But no visitations for music etc can be a pain s it causes an error to appear

I see you've got HDMI Audio enabled in the zone settings, I think that could be for audio output to a TV which could cause issues, try disabling it.

According to the manual, the 2 options for HDMI Audio is Enable or Through. Through is the option to passthrough to the TV.

what if find strange is that when i change the option from hdmi to optical/coaxial in the xbmc settings i get dts sound. The only cable i have from the computer is a hdmi cable so that setting should not be an option. Does my reciver think that i have a optical cable from the computer?
EDIT: I have connected the cable from the computer to the reciver and from there to the tv. Is that correct?

Dolby Digital Plus audio tracks are not working in Frodo (w/ new AudioEngine). Eden handled the DD+ tracks OK. Shame to see regression in the new AudioEngine.
