Hi guys,

I 've the problem, that I can't jump to a selected time in a movie, cause the enter key doesn't seem to work. I can enter the time with the number keys, but nothing happens by pressing enter. Can someone tell me, what is wrong (perhaps I deleted the line in the keymap accidently while playing with this file? /what line do I have to add again?).

Enable debug logging from System settings, System, Debugging, and restart XBMC then wait a minute or two for all the startup tasks to finish. Play some test video, then try and jump by pressing for example 2 2 2 2 Enter. Now stop the video and close XBMC.

Open the debug log by pressing Windows-R and in the Run dialog type:

"%appdata%\xbmc\xbmc.log"

(including the quotes). Click OK and the log should open in Notepad. Copy and paste the log into http://pastebin.com/ and post the link it gives you here.

The debug log will show use exactly what keypresses XBMC is receiving and how it's interpreting them.

In line 729 begins the time input, but only the numbers are shown (I first entered 1000 and enter, then when nothing happend 2222 and enter), no demuxer seek to, right? Where can I enable that?

Scancode 28 (0x1c) is the Enter key, and it's generating the sym and UNICODE values 13 (0x0D), which is return. But the OnKey log shows this keypress is being mapped to the action "OSD". The global mapping for <enter> is "Select", but the <FullScreenVideo> section overrides this to "OSD". However the <VideoTimeSeek> section overrides the override and maps the key back to "Select". For some reason this mapping is not taking effect on your system.

If your system keyboard.xml is still the default one, the problem must be in your userdata keymaps(s). Incidentally you seem to have a file called advancedsettings.xml in the keymaps folder and XBMC is attempting to read this as a keymap. This is harmless if inelegant.

Can you post your userdata keyboard.xml here, and if you've played around with the system keyboard.xml replace it with the stock version from https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/tree/Dharma/system/keymaps.
