For the past year I have tried to load and scrape the following series:

Generation Kill, Band of Brothers and The Pacific

I put the avi files in a Folder named IE> Generation Kill > folder > Season 1.

When xbmc scans for new content nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Can anyone enlighten me please?

Thanks in advance Grumpster

Yeah, either grab a debug log while scanning or give details to your exact naming structure.

What is the purpose of the extra folder?:

IE> Generation Kill > folder > Season 1

Perhaps take it out of the configuration...i.e.:

IE> Generation Kill > Season 1

Please tell us exactly what your naming scheme is and the folder hierarchy.

Also, to get a debug log. Turn on debugging in system settings. Then try to scan your files. get your debug log from the XBMC directory and post it to pastebin.com. Paste the url here.

Where is my (debug) log?
IMPORTANT! The normal XBMC log IS NOT a debug log, to enable debug logging you must toggle it on under XBMC Settings - System.
The location depends on your windows version:

1. Windows Xp: Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\XBMC\xbmc.log
2. Vista/Win7: Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\xbmc.log
