I'm using VSFTPD on my arch linux machine to serve files to my ATV and I'm running into a bit of a problem.
When VSFPTD comes up for the first time the FTP connection from the ATV goes through perfectly, but if I exit XBMC and re-enter it later in the day the FTP connection cannot be established.
Either restarting VSFTPD or rebooting my computer allows the ATV to connect again.
I am using a local login with VSFTPD and I'm thinking that potentially XBMC is not closing the FTP connection properly on exit which is preventing a future connection from the same user? Does anyone have a working vsftpd.conf that I could take a look at? What I really want is an anonymous login, but to have the ftp server only accessible on my local network.
