Indeed. In general, just go to the github and select the green button 'Code'. In the dropdown menu select 'Download zip'.

I've now also made a repository with the version of kokan and my variation. This could probably make the future update process easier for others (no more downloading and installing the zips of the forks). I'm not sure yet if I'll be maintaining it (perhaps if I can automate that process). For now, just a test with the current latest version of both kokan and myself in it. I’ve renamed the addons to ‘NBA League Pass II’ (-> my variation) and ‘NBA League Pass II (kokan)’ and made them version 1.0.2 to prevent confusion with the original from maxgalbu. Both can be installed separately if you want to test. If you know a bit about how this work on kodi, you can easily copy you previous settings to both of the addons.
Download the repo here: https://stevmert.github.io/nba.leaguepass.repo/repo/ (can add it as source in the filemanager of kodi or just download the zip and install manually)

@kokan: If you’d be interested in getting access to the repo addon so you can push newer versions directly, just let me know. I’ve also tried to give you credit for your work in the addon settings, but feel free to suggest changes…

If you want to test it, use some game that you know it's actually 1080/60. Christmas games should be good for that (I used Celtics-Nets for example)
I think you can get that on every device if there is such stream (cannot recall any such game in this new season at the moment, probably Christmas games have it). But! In order to have it, I think you should change inputstream.adaptive settings: enable Ignore Display Resolution (& set Stream Selection to Manually select video stream).

I guess you are really interested in this matter, so please provide feedback on suggested actions.

You can get the 1080/60 stream on any device, but not necessarily the hardware/software combo will be able to play it without dropped frames.
In my experience, i have only managed to get stable frame rate on high end hardware (laptop or desktop pc). I was curious if anyone has a suggestion for some small device. The new fire stick could be a good one, but I don't have one to try it.
Don't really have any suggestion, it was more out of curiosity (I'm one of those people that can really see the difference in a smooth 60 pfs)

Just in case the live games would only work in the dev version of kokans fork, I now also added that one to the repo. I also made it into a separate addon, so you can install them side by side.

Which logs should I look at for troubleshooting? Where are they located?
You must check/provide a Debug log. In order to do that, enable Debug logging in Kodi system settings, enable Debug logging in NBA add-on settings, and then try to reproduce the issue.

Once you "succeed", locate the Debug log on your machine (https://howtomediacenter.com/en/how-to-c...-log-file/), mask your e-mail and password in the log (find and replace all occurrences), and share the log with me in PM or here publicly.

Hi everyone! Considering the fact we still have neither the Kodi19-compatible add-on version nor the fixes for Live games (for Kodi18), I wanted to get your feedback about the idea that we should concentrate only on making Kodi19-compatible add-on version ASAP, and (at least temporarily) ignoring the Live games issue within Kodi18 (apparently, there will be no such issues in Kodi19). Have in mind that Kodi19 RCs are available and (hopefully) the official release will be ready very soon.

Are you comfortable with an immediate shift to Kodi19?

Yes sounds good to me, kodi 19 is the future, so will be beneficial to have the addon working for when it's release fully.
