NBA International League Pass - Add-on
Is bloody Neulion acting up again or is it just me? In the past 2 days I'm practically unable to watch most condensed game versions via max's addon, as the stream will either start buffering almost immediately (very slowly too) or it'll be breaking up all the time. Doubt it's a connection issue as my 50mbps line is generally working OK.

Today I had the exact same issue with the Bucks-Spurs archived full game on both home and away feeds, making them practically unwatchable. The desktop version does not seem to suffer from the same problems. I also tried it on Xbox One's app, at first the aforementioned stream would play only on the lowest quality and about an hour later it finally decided to work correctly (although it kept exhibiting the same behavior on Kodi).

Now I'm watching the full game between the Pelicans and the Grizzlies (via Kodi) and I can't see any of the above issues. Wth is wrong with Neulion, really?

Just a heads up that my League Pass account was hacked today, they changed my password and my e-mail address.

I've got it back now after a 10 e-mail struggle with the LP support, but just be careful, I have NO idea how this hack happened, I'm extremely cautious and careful when it comes to passwords & malware / viruses / phishing links, and nothing else of mine has been compromised, I hope this wasn't Kodi or even this App specifically that caused me to be exploited.

Do you also have installed one of the banned addons?
Maybe they are scanning your user data folder for passwords.

Negative, this is the only add-on that I've got installed on Kodi and I've never logged in to any other device or anything with these LP dets, so I'm pretty worried about it being Kodi itself or the App that's compromised.

I can assure you it's not the plugin (it's pretty simple and it's open source), and probably it's not kodi either. The only issue i can see is that kodi stores the password in plain sight, without encrypting it first (or letting me encrypt it).
Download the NBA International league pass (latest version) from github, report issues here

While I think of it max, is there any possible way to improve the current pause/rewind/fastforward features in your App? They're more or less unusable at the moment, rewind doesn't rewind, you can pause a game but if you don't resume it shortly thereafter it'll just crash / not load..

Is there any way to get 5.1 dolby digital surround or is it only aac 2.0 stereo? Using nvidia shield with spmc and raw passthrough audio
Reply
AFAIK there is only 2.0 stereo sound through League Pass. The games broadcasted on national TV (TNT, ABC, ESPN) are sometimes 5.1 DD, but not through League Pass .

If someone in the US captures this signal directly from the above mentioned TV stations and offers them for download anywhere, you can get 5.1DD (anyone around here who knows the times were a certain guy called Peacemaker has done this?! ;-) ).

In continuation of the above rant, I now believe this year's NBA ILP experience is disgusting and this is an understatement. This doesn't have to do with Max's fantastic addon, but with the streaming provider. Not only there are no true 60 fps streams anymore, but watching most VOD games is unbearable.

Just now I was trying to watch the Bucks-Wizards and Celtics-Thunder archived games and the damn thing keeps buffering the whole effing time. Not only at 6000 and 4500kbps streams, but even on the 3000kbps one! Eventually I resorted to watching the games using another Kodi addon (NBA Full Games), which had an inferior quality of 1.2Mbps or so, but at least the video was at true 60 fps and didn't pause at all. This is not a issue with my line, like I said I'm on a 50Mbps VDSL which otherwise works perfectly fine. Live 6000kbps LP streams work perfectly fine as well. Only archived games are affected. And it's not a hardware thing as I'm getting these buffering issues both on Kodi/PC and Libreelec/Raspberry Pi2, even after restarting my router and powerline devices. The problem persists. On the other hand watching the games via LP on desktop browser at 3000kbps works OK, so the issue must be with the streams Max's addon is sourcing. Quite possibly the provider cannot handle all this bandwidth for these streams.

Neulion, really, go eff yourselves.

edit (one day later): today the exact same streams are playing without any pauses to buffer or other interruptions. When skipping to +20 or 30 minutes later, the stream resumes playing almost instantly instead of always stopping (as it did yesterday). Clearly the reason is that a few other people care about these games today, so Neulion have ample of bandwidth to use.

Merry Christmas to the whole world. Except Neulion.

Just a few hours ago I sent an email to Neulion complaining about all the problems from this year, a reaction triggered by the impossibility to watch the just-ended Cle-GSW anywhere but the browser (on friggin Adobe Flash Player, it's gonna be 2017 in a week FFS!). The only answer was the usual pre-compiled reply. And I realised that the only contact email is Neulion, there's no way to complain with the NBA about Neulion...

Can someone help me to download NBA Games with League Pass and Kodi and ffmpeg or some other software

So let me get this straight.

So I am watching the live Hawks-Bucks game on my browser via NBA ILP. As usual this is a 3000kbps@30fps stream, because of fecking Flash. Not bad, but I'm not paying $120/year for such medium quality (we're in fecking 2017 with 50Mbps lines, we can do much better).

So I launch Kodi and use Max's fantastic addon. Now I can watch the game at 6000kbps@30fps, essentially using the Apple TV .mp4 streams. Nevermind that the stream gives a (fake) output of 60fps, as Neulion provider use a 30fps stream as an input, so the end result is still at 30fps. It used to be 60fps last year, so we're effectively talking about a degradation to the paid service.

So I search reddit for any free NBA live streams and I find one within seconds, it's at 5000kbps (with options to adjust the quality if required) at 60 (SIXTY) fps, it plays perfectly fine and it's even broadcasted half a minute BEFORE the official NBA ILP stream.

So I am thinking, what the hell? Those who watch pirate streams get a much better service than those who are actually paying for the bloody thing. We are the suckers here.

Neulion, wtf really. I am emailing [email protected] to give them hell. The bastards.

You don't download the NBA games. You stream them using your NBA international league pass

Today it's even worse. I tried watched the Bucks-76ers game via the official NBA ILP streams on Kodi, and the damn thing is buffering and stops playing every now and then! For heaven's sake. In the end I resorted watching the game in a pirate stream which has equal quality, it's at 60fps and doesn't freeze every now and then.
