Hi everybody,
after a longer time of absence from this forum, I'm back in the tunnel...
Had a couple of days of learning and trying to understand what had happened to lirc and to its relation with xbmc.
Not that I grasped the whole thing, but I reached a configuration where things look promising. I set up ir-keytables (with imon patch) and lirc using devinput. Now the log in xbmc shows sdlkeyboard presses. Too bad they seem to be mapped to...nothing. I thought they should simply work, like a normal keyboard. I may have lost/changed something during all those trys...can anybody help/explain please?
