[Edit 3] Version 1.3.1 is now available in the CatchupTV AU repo. This fixes the issue for me (using Internode -- the problem is ISP specific).

Thanks for the update but booo hooo 1.3.1 didn't work for me....same errors...wonder if its because Im running eden rather the frodo...Oh and Im on Adam in S.A as well so looks like that might be the issue....Hmmm yet another reason to switch ISP's Smile

Hi all,
Just wanted to explain something in case it affects anyone.
iView recently switched from RTMP flash streaming to Adobe HDS for their unmetered streams. The way we got around that in the plugin was to force people to connect to the old Akamai RTMP server as XBMC doesn't properly support HDS yet (and it's a lot of work).
Please note that this means that watching through the add-on currently will most likely affect your data quota, even if iView is normally unmetered for you.

Has anyone else started getting the dreaded script error:addon.py error in the 10 Addon? Was working fine only a couple if days ago. Have they changed video formats again?

Ten seem to have finished moving from movideo to Brightcove and switched off API access to movideo, so everything based on the old API won't work anymore. I'm looking into it but I'm making no promises.

Update: I went through and got a list of all the shows and playlists (link) - that took forever because I did it manually, but at least the listing is of a slightly higher quality now and more flexible. I've written an updated version of the original XBMC addon, there's a test zip you can download here. Let me know of any problems so I can get some feedback before releasing it properly.

Simple fix for the bug, checks for addStreamInfo on the ListItem object. I had meant to do that anyway but I obviously missed a spot.

Tested watching Rules of Engagement on XBMC Eden, seems to work now.

I'll be uploading it to the xbmc-catchuptv-au repo sometime soon, in the mean time you can download the zip file from here (plugin.video.catchuptv.au.ten-0.4.0.zip).

I don't have any prior experience with the Plus7 addon, which version are you using / where did you download it from? From the error logs it looks like they will have changed the site and the scraper needs to be updated. And just having a quick look it looks like they are using Brightcove and FlashAccess DRM. =(

Update 2013-07-10: And I did some extra digging into Plus7 - got some good and bad news. The good news is that there is a loophole for IPTV, but the bad news is that it doesn't include all the shows (see xml file for what it includes).

Yes. That is correct. There is a scraper that is built-in to the code but I disabled it because it was not very accurate. The listing (https://gist.github.com/adammw/5920487) lists only the search queries, so new videos in a season will show up without any changes, but any new shows or playlists will need to be added. Any problems with shows or videos missing, just open an issue on the GitHub page for the plugin and i'll update the list.
