Network drive is not supported, and i do not know OSX.
You can maybe solve your problem with "Finder".

Open Finder, go where you need (on your network drive), and drag and drop your movie folder in Movie Renamer "Media list".
In theory , it will work.

i like it it is fast and very accurate. a option i like to see automatically download of all info you can check and batch rename it takes a lot of time to rename every movie by it self
