Update from movies submenu
#1
Hey BN,

Quick question,
The movie submenu has update.
Works fine. But takes forever.

Basically I have a lot of different shares for my library.
Only 2 active ones.
The other locations I have excluded from library updates.

When in the library view and go to context menu and update library the scan is quick.
When I use the movie submenu update, It takes a long time to scan, I assume its scanning all my media locations and ignoring the "exclude" option set on them.

Any ideas. Or is this as intended?

Thanks!

That should be handled by XBMC itself. That is skin independant

That's what I thought, (but aeon nox is only skin I have seen with a Update on the main menu) Any idea why using "update libary" from context menu in the library only scans the sources, not marked as excluded. But the Update menu item appears to scan all sources even the ones marked excluded.

Main system xbmcbuntu RC2, but also happens on Win7 and Win8 with RC2.

Sorry at work at the moment, so can't get a log. can get one later tonight though.
