Linux XBMCbuntu Audio issue
#1
I just upgraded from XBMC Dharma to Eden. After doing a fresh install the sound (Digital Optical) doesn't work so I went into system settings, changed the sound settings and attempted to play some music. XBMC immediately crashed and now I have the following issues.

- Missing a bunch of options that were in "Passthrough output devices"
- Audio mixer no longer displays anything
- XBMC crashes when playing audio/video no matter what audio settings I try

The box I am using is a Zotac ZBOX HD-ID11.

Weird. I reinstalled fresh and now it's working fine without changing any settings.

I have exactly the same problem on my Asrock 330 - somehow I got an unknown git build dated 23rd March. I'm going to try the release build now (which I assume is different to what the apt-get update pulled down).

After playing with it a bit it seems I am right back where I started. The issue has come right back to me.

I've had to switch back to Dharma on my setup. Thankfully I did a backup of my library prior to starting.
