How does this hardware compare the ATV2 or ATV3?
I have just donated for the purchase of further ARM equipment. It's the least we can do, so the all of devs get the new ARM boxes. The number of extra boxes coming on stream, it's too expensive for the devs to be buying them all. It's seem like there is a new box each month

All u need is a sd card with proper partition and software. It will be helpful if u can connect to the on board serial console. Hardware wise is more like atv3 for its 512MB memory and 1080p playback capability. The CPU and gpu on atv3 may be a bit powerful than a10. Video playback on A1000 should be much much better as it virtually plays every video files you throw at it.
