How to show special word separator "●"

How do I go about showing the special word separator character "●" (e.g. ● Settings ● Appearance):

You can add it to the XML file as it is as long as it's encoding is UTF-8.

I have tried to add "●" as UTF-8 but the character does not show up. Can you give me an example of how I could include that character.

the character is not available in the default fontfile included in T!
if you switch the font to Arial it should show up.

in the skin i'm not using this character but i'm using an image file (dot.png).
