I have this problem, the XBMC crash and wont play anything, just cross on a black windows and the system restart.

Here is a part of the crash report.
PulseAudio seems to fail
i tried to uninstall and install again but with no luck

i have the ION chip motherboard
Version Eden 11.0 final.

It must be something happend after i installed tvheadend pulse-6.
It seems that i can start the sound card, should i try to install some drivers?

I Found a solution to this, just delete the .asoundrc
and everything is okey then

Unfortunately while that appears to fix the problem it basically breaks all the functionality for multiple speaker configurations and such... I'm in the same boat, it seemed to work briefly, and then just out of the blue stopped... no idea what happen or why it STOPPED working
