It looks awsome.....it shouldn't take much to cool a 35W CPU!

Have you try 1080P and bitstreaming HD audio with just Intel HD2000? I'm just curious how it perform without a discrete GPU. I'm using the i5 with HD2000. It can playback 1080P great, but I don't have AVR connect to it. I cannot try bitstreaming function......

If you haven't setup for bitstreaming, you can check my signature below for guide......

Hey BluRay...

I am now running Frodo with a new Onkyo TX-NR616 amp.
Its great, except you cannot use passthrough while using the onboard GPU/CPU...

My GT210 died so is out for RMA.

But I may just get a GT640 when there is one available.

Will let you know how it goes then Smile

Wait....stick with me. I might be able to help you get Intel HD2000 bitstreaming HD audio to your Onkyo without a discrete GPU....try these.....

1. If there is any Nvidia driver left after you un-install the card, you can un-install all Nvidia drivers
2. Install the latest Intel i3-2120T driver from here- Automatically identify and find drivers
3. Install Realtek HD audio codecs- High Definition Audio Codecs
4. Check out my thread "Windows How to Bitstreaming using XBMC" under Setup for the rest of audio configuration.....

If you are running into 24p issue, you can check out- post #34.....

Okay....you're not interesting in bitstreaming DTS-HD/TrueHD audio then.....

It is not that I love Windows so much.....I use it because it meet my needs for bitstreaming DTS-HD/TrueHD, streaming Netflix/Hulu/Vudu, blu-ray BD-ROM playback, browsing, live OTA HD, etc. If OpenElec can do all of the above, I would love to use it.....and it is free.....!

Agree with bluray, I do use OpenElec on my bedroom system though but I do greatly miss Netflix. I just couldn't justify a Windows license for my bedroom. However, the more content I'm getting for my system the less I'm using Netflix anyways.
HTPC 1 - AMD A8-3870K, ASRock A75M, Silverstone ML03B, Kingston HyperX 4GB DDR3 1866, Crucial M4 64GB SSD
HTPC 2 - HP Stream Mini, 6GB Ram
unRAID 6 Server - Intel Celeron G1610, 20TB Storage

So I am running into my first issue with this case.
It have an internal IR Receiver which is great as I want to get rid of my old clunky receiver.

But all it can do is power on and off.
It does not pickup within OpenELEC, can anyone help me with this?

you might be hosed unfortunately. Do you know where the data line from the IR sensor goes? If it just goes to the circuit that controls power on/off, then it's not going to work. If it goes into a UART of some sort that the OS can read from, then you're in luck. Any documentation on the case or motherboard regarding this?
Worst case scenario is that you will have to install a second IR sensor for use with OpenElec.

I *think* it uses the power, as it has a separate atx power connector with 3 lines going in.
Then I can boot it *makes it look like im pressing the power button*

But the IR goes into a usb header. If that makes sense.
I think you can see what i mean here...

The white ribbon by the ATX shows the extra so that it can boot from remote.

Then there is a 4 wire black, green, blue, red that goes into a USB header.
I believe this is for the IR Receiver.

After seeing this post: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=134589
I would LOVE to watercool my HTPC!
It would be really quiet and really cool!

Currently cpu gets to around the 70c mark, and gpu higher!

This is mainly due to it being in a shelf without proper air circulation.
I have some usb fans to suck air out the back of my unit, but havent got around to getting it installed.

But ultimately I would love to watercool!

Can anyone help me with my specs to get this bad boy watercooled?
