Can you confirm that the current XBMC tv-server plugin does not work with 1.3 Beta

Sorry.

It actually works fine. I had just been trying to get it to work on self compiled GIT version after 1.3Alpha and was not able to run the plugin because of some compatibility check in Mediaportal. Therefore i falsely assumed that it would not work in 1.3Beta before it was updated, but i just tried it out and it works fine.

OK. tested it a bit. A few channels work but most fails with an error about waiting for timeshift buffer file.

I did some testing with MediaPortal 1.3.0 beta and I saw some changes with respect to the database for channel number storage. I've created a 1.3.0 beta compatible version of the TVServerXBMC.

This does not solve the waiting for timeshift buffer file. I'm not seeing any problems here. Are you using a non-Windows client? I've seen that Argus TV client users are seeing similar problems on non-Windows systems.
(the Argus TV pvr addon shares the code to read from the timeshift buffer).

Interestingly, I was one of the users that had constant 'No Buffer File' problems with Argus after the samba stuff was replaced with native XBMC parts.. (using Openelec) - but using the same server (I used MePo as my Argus recorder) and same client, I switched to the Mediaportal addon (basically just cutting out Argus) and since then I have not had a single 'No Buffer File' (serveral weeks!)... wierd Undecided
