Linux Prevent XBMCbuntu from going to sleep so often?
#1
I'm happily using XBMCbuntu on my cheap, low power AMD E-350 system, except for one thing. When I switch to 'buntu desktop to watch crunchyroll in a browser, the machine goes to sleep if I don't wiggle the mouse every 20 minutes or so. I'm not sure of the exact time before it goes to sleep, because the default XBMCbuntu environment doesn't have any control panels really. "Openbox configuration manager" certainly doesn't have a power mgmt control panel.

Is there something I can install with Synaptic to allow me to manage the linux environment easily? I'm not a linux expert by any means, but I was hoping for something like the Gnome preferences applications that I have on my full Ubuntu install. But I don't know how to find those.

Help please?

Thanks in advance.
