Hi,

Just switched to this scraper as wanted metacrtic/rt info and all films have scraped. That being said, when I go to the movie, this info is not intially displayed. If I then refresh the movie info manually using the scraper, it does appear. Any idea how I can fix this rather than manually scraping each film?

Thanks

I'm not sure it's UMS' fault, I'm just throwing out there: Several skins support showing RT audience score along with the number of votes. I noted ie. in MQ8 that a number of new movies I have stubbornly show 0 votes, even though they display the correct RT audience percentage. I've tried everything, refreshing etc but nothing. Then I tried to compare directly from RT which movies showed 0 votes and which the correct number.
Guess what...RT has changed since May the audience score from the default 'user ratings'to a new system 'verified score':
https://editorial.rottentomatoes.com/art...nce-score/
All movies older than May populate the audience votes box correctly, newer ones do not. Is there anything that can be done about it?
On an unrelated question, apart from entering the API keys directly in UMS,do we also have to enter them in the Metadata and Artwork module? I'm a little confused.

The scraper adds information at the scrape. It does not dynamically update your library as and when required on its own. Obviously you never had metacritic/rt ratings before as you "just switched to this scraper".

If you want these ratings, then you need to rescrape your library. Here are some methods to do that... https://kodi.wiki/view/Updating_or_remov...sh_Library

I don't have an OMDB key so I cannot check. Please provide a Debug Log which captures the problem. Thanks.

No need I think, I checked myself. It's OMDB's fault. Due to RT's change in May (it began using 'verified votes' instead of regular user votes), OMDB simply does not provide the necessary data for RT audience votes. Until OMDB solves that, I think there is nothing to be done.

Hmm, not sure if what you describe is happening on my end. I have new movies downloaded to library which it scans but rt,Metacritic info is only present for some of the titles downloaded. If you update info manually, behavior is as expected

Kinda weird thing that I'm noticing on my Raspberry pi 4 that I just setup. I used UMS to as the scraper and specified to search by movie folder. My directory structure is as follows:

<folder named the same as the movie title>\ <filename.mkv>

About 20 to 30% of library will be searched by the filename instead of the folder title and I have to manually go into the library, refresh the information, select manually search, erase <filename.mkv>, eneter the actual movie title (same as the folder) and then it will come up with the correct movie information. I have to do that for every movie that its searched by <filename.mkv> and for big libraries its time consuming. I have no idea why it would randomly do that for some movies and not others. It works perfectly when scraping TV shows however.

Any ideas what may be causing this?

First thing that comes to mind is item 1d here... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=336969

Otherwise a Debug Log might reveal what the problem is.

Video tags were already disabled, I'll take a look at the logs and see if I can figure out what the issue is. I'm pretty sure most of the movies that were incorrectly scanned were split into multiple parts. E.g the the Raider of the lost ark folder would contain "RotLA.dvd1.mkv" and "RotLA.dvd2.mkv"

Ok but the first movie should be picked up anyway. Just a heads up that split movie files is broken in v18 for ISO's, DVD and Bluray folders in case you have any.

Are any of those unscraped movies foreign? ie, do they have an original title that is different to the title you are using or different to the English title?

Post the Debug Log and we can have a look.

Also, why not combine your split movies? Use this which is simple drag and drop... https://mkvtoolnix.download/
