script at startup in xbmcbuntu
#1
hi

I want to run two scripts at startup to automate some background tasks when XMBC starts up. Since the upgrade to teh latest Version of XBMC two days ago I do not seem to be able to find a way to get the two scripts executed upon start of XBMC.

I am thankful for any pointers on where I need to add them.

Thanks HP

HI I have seen this thread but all the option in this thread are suggesting to edit system files. This is not the smartest thing as every update potentially could overwrite such changes. Plus I tried several suggestions and they did not work.
I was hoping that there is a real Autostart folder like in other linux distros.
