I am going to redo my XBMC box. I have a Zotac ION board with an MCE remote, and have a few questions?

XBMCubuntu
1. What file system does it use by default Fat32 or ext2/3, and can it be modified?
2. Will flash be installed automatically? I ask because I expect to use 3rd party add-ons.
3. Are power saving features configured by default? ( power off and on with mce remote?)

I expect it to require some configuration on my part, I ask because I am trying to travel the path of least resistance.

Thank you I tried OpenELEC on my appletv1 and the next day I put it on my ION. That was the easiest XBMC install ever.... Less than 10 minutes total. Now I just have to get the mythtv PVR function to work. Guess I have to learn the OpenELEC os now
