As you can see tarmo13, I'm running ION to and my signature was changed about 5 days ago and still valid :-D

I recommend you read the refered thread and follow the _right_ steps to upgrade to the version 12.04 as it is a LTS version
Hope you not has more than 3GIG ram as it gave me a big scare with the OpenGL bug/problem, but the thread explain that too.
Try it out and hopefully you will be happy.

BTW: I was playing around with ALSA settings and sometimes XBMC refused to start and other times it crash when playing a video, so be careful. If you need just search my latest post for a working "/.asoundrc" for HDMI output and correct channel output for HD sound and navigation sound, but haven't found any setting that work for both HD sound and crossfade.
