Linux Live/Install cd won't boot(lirc fail)
#1
I'm having a strange problem. I downloaded eden xbmcubuntu from xbmc.org, made a usb disk with unetbootin. First I installed our bedroom pc with this usb disk. Went just fine. Next I was going to install it to our living room pc but no go.

The behavior is the same what ever(install, dpi, run) I choose from startup list. It starts to load, but after few seconds turns back to old school boot screen. xbmc ok, xbmcubuntu ok etc comes and after them lirc fails. Then the boot seqvense starts to close xbmc etc and hangs on system v enviroment or something.
What can I do? Once I got it in to safemode or something, terminal, and I noticed that nvidia module wasn't running.

The computer is a old Nvidia ion with core2duo. Before it had older version of xbmc. It worked fine except I didn't ever get lirc to work! It was like that maybe two years, but now I had an excess ssd disk so I thought I will change that and at the same upgrade our building to eden.
