Question
Hi,

I did post this question here before, but I did hit an dead end and I am still having this issue.

I have a couple of splitt up VOB Files which I made sure a named correctly ....cd1.vob ....cd2.vob
XBMC gives me still an error that he can't play the movie.

If any of you experts could have look and tell me what is wrong...I would really appreciate it.
Here is my log:

The log says the item is unplayable, I'm no expert on this by any means, but have you tried to play these files elsewhere to verify they are good? Such as VLCPlayer or something else ?

Hi,

Yes I played them on vlc and they are good... I also have the same issue with 2 other movies which are splitted vob files and 1 movie which Is a splitted movie in .mkv file format.

I have to say that I just started using XBMC and this is my first try to play multi file movies.
Maybe I am doing something wrong or some settings are not correct. I keep reading about the advanced setting.xml but I haven't done anything in this file yet....do I maybe need to add something their ??
Or do I need any other file in the same movie folder? I read something about the.nfo file I do have this file together with the vob files but inside the nfo file is only a link to the tvdb.com something page.

Thx for any advise here....

Regards,

Have you tried just playing ONE of them by itself in XBMC?
