Hi!

I'm attempting to get TVHeadEnd working with XBMC Eden. I set it up following the instructions in the wiki here, and when I try to connect, I get "Could not connect to network server" on xbmc. In the TVHeadEnd web gui, I see "Welcomed client software: XBMC". So, it's like tv headend sees the connection, but xbmc doesn't.

In the xbmc log, I see this....

However, I do not have authentication enabled on tvheadend. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Figured it out...

It turns out you have to setup some access controls in the tvheadend web gui first. Once that was done, xbmc connected fine.

Now, I have to try to figure out how to configure tvheadend to get the channels!

I tried to configure this on my mates machine last night. The tvheadend that ships with eden wasn't working.
I upgraded to the lastest tvheadend deb file and installed it. Then it worked fine.
