Many thanks for all your work to date Reazor. To yourself and every other skinner who dedicates their own time to create and enhance their designs I'm eternally grateful and appreciative.

Don't worry about Avalon it will still be here when you're free to return to it and we'll still be using it until such time as it's no longer compatible with XBMC.

I'm starting to use my favorite skin -- Avalon -- for music (used it mainly for video in the past). One issue I have, though, is that when I want to browse my library by album, it lists the artist before the album (e.g. the album, "Uno" by Green Day is showing as 'Green Day - Uno' rather than just Uno). Would it be possible to fix this so it only shows the album name, or alternatively include a setting so that a user could enabled/disable the showing of the artist name in the album view, or it could maybe show the artist last if you feel it's important to show it, e.g. Uno (Green Day)? It's making browsing by album unusable for me so I'm having to use the Quartz Reloaded skin in the interim. Thanks, Reazor, and I hope the new job is working out OK for you!

To all avalon users:

You've already noticed that the project AVALON has been set on ice, due my limited spare time. The good news are, i'll try to invest my poor time to continue what i've started. Keep in mind that requests and suggestions will be handled with low priority, high priority will be to finish AVALON first.

Notes:

I'm moving my repo to xbmc.nerds (german community) so i'll only post the download links for updates, status and progress of avalon to xbmc.org ... please don't be disappointed if i won't go to answer your questions in the avalon thread, but this is the only solution spending more time for skinning.

hi - nice work so far, but could you please not wrap the XBMC logo in two lines but show it in one line? Would IMO look much better.

he was trying to have the logo have a similar form factor as the mediaportal logo. i think it looks good TBH.

Love the addition of the new view. I've never been a fan of list views so this a vast improvement for me. Hope this makes it's way into the TV views as well.

i know you're really busy, but i made a mockup of some things that enhance the look of the Slide view....

Like maybe lessening the spaces between the posters and having the focused poster partially cover the two unfocused ones to each side. i also like seeing the star rating under the poster like in the list view, as well as the Avalon watched icon instead of the Aeon one (gives the skin its own style). finally, as u don't have anything in the skin that utilizes movie/series logos, maybe you can added it to the 'video window' space when a video isn't playing. i for one like the way it looks. Nod

and maybe you can have an option to turn fanart on and off. looks nice both ways.

as i said, i know you're busy, but seeing the new view gave me some ideas and i had to share them. Big Grin

PS: one other minor request. can u have the series plot and info visible on the season level for tv shows? thanks.
