Hello,

I jailbreaked my apple tv 2 and installed xmbc with succes. Everything works and its streams movies from my NAS to the apple tv 2.
Today I wanted to install powerline so that I can stream high quality videos. In the settings of the apple tv 2 I see that it changes from wireless to wired, but it receives an external IP adress instead of an IP adress from the router (192.168.X.X). Therefore, there is internet access, but the ATV2 is unable to see my network shares.
I tried to set the IP adresses manually but this is no succes.
I also tried googling the problem but I cant find any solutions. Is the problem powerline related? On the router everything seems fine...

What is the brand and model of the router you are using?

I think I have solved the issue. The powerlan adapter was plugged in a power divider while it must be plugged in the wall directly. In combination, the powerlan adapter connected strangely enough to the powerlan on my neighbours network, causing it to get a unique IP adress.
I plugged both units in the wall and now they can see each other and the IP adress is correct.
