I am having trouble with XBMC scanning certain mp3 files. It's not picking some of them up, and I know it has to do with the id tags. Not sure if its an iTunes thing or what but I edit some of my tags there.

The file shows up under "file view" But not in Library View.

I am using XBMC 11.0 Dharma on my ATV2. Is there an app for Mac OS X that can fix/edit/modify id tags properly so that XBMC wlil properly recognize and scan my music files?

Do they have to be a certain id tag version? I'm not sure what gives.

v10 = Dharma
v11 = Eden

In any case, iTunes should handle it just fine. I've never had an issue with my MP3s with ID3 tags edited by iTunes. See if you can get us a debug log (wiki) when you attempt to scan in those MP3s, and we can see a little more of what XBMC is doing under the hood.

Sorry, yes Eden is what I'm running. Okay I will get that log. Strange how it shows up under file view but not under library view. It was there before and after I editted a few things in itunes, and update my music library it went missing after that.
