Its like buying a supercar just to drive to the shops, you don't need it but it does look cool.

A very sexy build. I love WC setups but I just couldn't justify it for my HTPC. It runs almost silently on air. Still, congrats on the neat build!

This is the three inch porterhouse of HTPCs. LOL.

I'm wondering how long it will be before you crack open those externals and build a cold-fusion powered unRAID box.

You say OTT...

But for a nice quiet COOL htpc why not?!
I know my HTPC runs a 35w cpu and still gets bloody hot.
Then the fans come on full on, so makes quite a bit of noise
As its in a TV Unit shelf. So im now thinking of WC my htpc!

David......different people like different thing.......it doesn't mean that other cheaper option cannot achieve the same thing......it just mean that OP want his HTPC this way.......

To OP.....it looks awesome bud....!

>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC
>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC

I'm not knocking it, I too think it looks great, but should have been installed in a perspex case so that it can be seen!
