I recently purchased this case to make my XBMC build: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6856115042

I need to get a processor and am thinking about a video card and an audio card for 5.1 surround. Just want to install the XBMC operating system, not looking to install Windows or anything. Will have a seperate internal harddrive with my media files and a dedicated HDD for the operating system.

Can anyone recommend some cheap cards and processor, or anything else I should include in my build? Thanks!

you need some type of opp system... even if you use linux or something else and then you can run the xbmc

Thank you for the quick responses. I am planning on using XBMCbuntu, as I just want it to boot quickly and right into XBMC.

That card looks nice, I've had trouble in the past getting audio to go over HDMI, is that a concern?

Processor looks nice too, should be just what I need. Thanks!
