Currently, each user has a seperate profile on XBMC so that they can keep track of what shows they've watched. We have one small issue with this that I'm hoping has a simple solution...

Is there a way to add a "Choose Profile" selection to the home screen of XBMC? Currently we go into System->Profiles->ProfileName->Tap the Menu key->Load Profile.

There must be an easier way to switch profiles.

Also, it would be great if the home screen could display the profile name someplace. Is this an option?

yes there is. you have to enable it in the profile options

Most skins will let you log-out of a profile via the shutdown menu (press "S" on a keyboard).

Displaying the profile name would need to be supported by a skin. Not sure if I've ever seen a skin that did that. One work-around would be to give each profile a custom background, where the image was edited to include the name of the profile, so it looks like it was naturally rendered there.
