Hi,
I am interested in using XBMC as a solution for multi-room audio and using the Android app as the controller.
With the recent release a number of very low cost development boards (R pi & All winner), these would be very good for an audio only build of xbmc.
No doubt that these are more than capable of running the full experience, however if running audio only - they the power saving could be big.
I am thinking dropping:
* All UI
** All video decoding and playback
** All graphics rendering
* Pictures
By making this a stripped down version, XBMC would probably run on much less capable devices even more so than the Ri pi.
Would any other people see this as being useful ?
