Dear XBMC Community,

I've been using XBMC for a while now, but i always used it with Archlinux. Everything was fine until i wanted to get wireless via a WMP600N network card. It took me a while before i got a connection and it took me even longer to get it auto configured at boot. And after that the connection didn't work. I got hiccups and freezings after streaming media,

i remembered that i was using Ubuntu with the WMP600N without any problems. So i got myself a copy of XMBCbuntu loaded it with the CD drive.

Now i see that it can't find my harddrive at installation and it doesn't show up as /dev/sda

The name of my harddrive is ST31000528AS

And i can find it in /dev/disk/by-id/ by #ls /dev/disk/by-id/

Then why can't i find it at installation?
