Either is fine.
Xbmc's url timeouts are a little tight since it mostly deals with media. Does the setting show up after a restart?

yeah the service starts upon boot. I'll try booting and not running ondemand and see what happens(if the service will stay running and working for me)...but I think somehow they are still related the ondemand jacks the service up.
