Can you file an official bug report? It may get overlooked if not.

I've never filed an official bug report.

Can you point me in the right direction? Wink

(2012-07-27, 20:35)torcar Wrote: So... i've got a new observation...

Turns out... if I download a subtitle twice, it works.

So the procedure has to go like this:

Start movie -> Download sub (Will not work even though the .srt file is downloaded) -> download sub again (Does not matter if it's the same sub that has already been downloaded) -> working subs...

This does not exactly tell me why the first .srt is not loaded, but it's an observation none the lessWink

As I've said before... by reverting to Eden the problem is gone.

The problem is still not solved in Frodo.

I have the same problem as above but I just noticed you don´t have to download the sub twice you just download once and stop the movie then start the movie again and the sub will show.

I'm on Frodo Alpha 5 and the problem is still not solved there as you said.

And just to mention it... I can also stop/start the movie to get the sub's working as I wrote in a previous post.

So... either download the sub twice, or download it once+restart movie Wink

True yes either way. Extremly annoying though since I download subs for all my movies/series. Sleepy

If the Trac ticket is still open, chances are it hasn't. Best way to know is to test a current nightly. If it is still an issue, it is something that should be fixed before the next release.

Yes it is still an issue. To be clear the problem only occur for me when loading subs from the sub addon. It doesnt matter from wich provider.

in eden it still work as charm.

Check your version of the XBMC subtitle addon. There was a fix in version 3.3.2 that may address this issue. Can you check if you have this version or not and if so that the issue still exists with that version.
