MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win (with music library scraping)
Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that I've updated the v2.8.2 AppImage. There was a network issue in the AppImage which is now fixed. MediaElch's code has not changed which is why this isn't a new release. :-)
You can download it from https://mediaelch.github.io/mediaelch-doc/download.html

Regards,
Andre

Hello, I wanted to know what is the setting TV Tune ? It says Missing

Also how to add our own if there is no result ?

TV Tunes are soundtracks of the TV shows. They are loaded from https://www.televisiontunes.com :-)
If your show cannot be found there, you can add a "theme.mp3" to your show's folder. That's what MediaElch looks for.

Okay thanks ! So when I will be browsing a TV Show, the song will be played, am I right ? But how to do that ? Because I don’t hear any song (I added theme.mp3 in the TV Show folder)

To play these TV Theme songs in Kodi, you need a Kodi add on, such as...

TV Melodies

TV Tunes
https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=347428

Or better yet, a Skin that incorporates these themes, such as...

Settings - TV Show - Episode nfo

1 - I can't use <baseFileName>.<extension>.nfo

Is normal?

2 - And how can I load ONLY a tv show folder and not entire TV Folder that contain a lot of tvshows ?

Given the recent changes in the updates, for a Windows system is it recommended to not just remove the old MediaElch folder when replacing with the updated version - but remove the registry entries and Appdata entries also (for a clean start)?  Or is there no benefit and I can just delete my old MediaElch folder and replace with the new one?

Hi, :-)

1) Only <baseFileName> and <seasonNumber> are supported there at the moment. More are planned but not in the near future.Undecided

2) That is not possible with Mediaelch. You would need to add another directory which contains only your one show.

Andre

That should not be necessary. Just replace the MediaElch directory. :-)
We haven't done any changes to the SQL database so that hasn't changed (i.e. don't delete the Appdata folder for MediaElch). There are some format changes of certain setting keys and values (which are are stored in the registry on Windows) but those should not affect the usage of MediaElch.
I recommend to _only_ remove them if you experience issues with MediaElch. And then only after you reported them (because it may be a bug in MediaElch which I need to fix). :-)

Andre

Hi,

Why when i create nfo for every episode of a tvshow, i need to select every episode one by one and then press save ? ( to save nfo and other info files? )

If i selected all episode and press save or save all, doesn't save nothing

( I save only nfo for some tv show, that doesn't scrape in right way, or doesn't have a webpage )

So i don't setup a connection into my kodi, because i use the internet scraper.

Clicking the "Save all" button should work. Tested it locally and it works with my test setup. NFOs are updated.
What operating system are you on? Where are the files stored (on your PC's disk, on a NAS, ...)? :-)

Windows 10 PRO.

File stored locally and i have tried also to mount my google drive, same story.
You must select every episode one by one, then save, and save nfo for episode.
If i select all episode and save all, do nothing.
If needed i can make a video
