I don't have time right now to browse through all of the previous 40 pages... but I have a small issue that could be more my setup than anything else.
I have my files residing on my Mac in a ZFS pool. Permissions are set and seem to be working OK, except that I have to re-establish permissions after I move a file. That info is just in case it happens to coincide with my actual problem.
I have three TV episodes that always show as NEW, no matter what I do.
If you could look them up, there a letters in the episodes with accents on them, E especially.
Shameless (US) S03E02
Sons of Anarchy S02E13
South Park S14E14
Is there a way to force these silly things to read properly? I am trying to run the media scanner from a remote location and so I have no idea if the NFO is sticking for my XBMCBuntu Frodo at this point. Just wondering if there is any setting I can dig further into to fix this (in case you happen to know off hand).
Also - fantastic work! I have tried other media scanners (Windows, Mac and Linux variants). Yours works great, is fast, and for the most part had less missed files or renames than other programs have had. Love the GUI, the blending with my Mac OS is great. And the best part is that I can run the scanner on my Mac where my files actually are is extremely helpful.
Great work. Thank you much!
