Same thing with the Windows version. not a big issue but noticed it when I was using 2.8.7

Do you remember what the last version was that worked? :-)

I can now confirm. The size is stored (MediaElch.conf on linux) but isn't used! Will debug and fix it. Thank you all for reporting it. :-)

The Window-Size issue was fixed by https://github.com/Komet/MediaElch/pull/1301

I'm truly sorry. I forgot to remove some code that I had added for creating screenshots. It resized the window to a fixed size...

I'll upload new Nightlies ASAP. :-)

Did a git pull and the window size works beautifully now. Many thanks. Love this app (use it in Kodi on an Odroid N2+)

Thanks for the update. Will grab the newest and test it out.

MediaElch v2.8.10 - Coridian

The next stable version 2.8.10 is here!

Blog Post: https://mediaelch.github.io/mediaelch-bl...h-v2.8.10/
Documentation: https://mediaelch.github.io/mediaelch-doc/download.html

What's new?
I've fixed a few bugs, that were really annoying in v2.8.8. Also the navigation bar has got new icons. :-)
See the blog post for more.

Where can I download MediaElch?
Stable releases can be downloaded from https://mediaelch.github.io/mediaelch-doc/download.html
We have a download-mirror on https://mediaelch-downloads.ameyering.de...es/v2.8.8/ instead of bintray this time. The latter has shut down. The former is my own server. So please be patient if the server is not reachable. :-)

For Linux distributions we provide repositories for Ubuntu (.deb) and openSUSE (.rpm).
For Windows we also provide a Chocolatey package.
The repositories will take a few days to get the latest version.

Where can I get help?
For general question use Kodi forums, e.g.

- [English] https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=136333 (this thread)
- [German] https://www.kodinerds.net/index.php/Thre.../?pageNo=1

If you find a bug, please open an issue on https://github.com/Komet/MediaElch/issues

@bugwelle
Think you have some kind of glitch with the nightly releases.
https://mediaelch.github.io/mediaelch-doc/download.html says there's a 2.8.11 but if you click the link the latest version is 2.8.9. And before that when the download page indicated that 2.8.9 was up for grabs the latest version was 2.8.8. Seems like the latest one is hidden or something.
No big deal but just thought I should mention it if you wasn't aware of it.

I only use MediaElch for my music library, but I remember a while back when it used to download music reviews from All music I believe. I'm just trying to find out why that function was removed, or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,

Shedrock

Hi, v2.8.10 was released just now. I update the documentation before I release the next nightly. It's a bit confusing sorry. I'll release a new nightly soon so that the buttons are correct. :-)

Hi,

I didn't remove that functionality. But I tested it and you are right, it does not load the review anymore. In fact, the AllMusic scraper seems to be broken.
I've opened an issue for it here: https://github.com/Komet/MediaElch/issues/1313
I will look at it on the weekend.

Thank you for reporting this issue. :-)

Regards

Andre

Hi,

just wanted to let you know that there is currently a bug in the movie section. MediaElch may crash if you have more than one movie folder.
A fix is on the way. :-)

I have <thumb> tags in my NFO for episode thumbnails that got scraped but can't remove.  They also don't show up as a thumbnail on the episode.

Hi, what do you mean "Can't remove". Could you explain what you mean in a bit more detail? Smile
